Gmail Stealth tips: editing gmail chat contacts!

Since as I’m the self styled master of Gmail Stealth Mode, I thought I would post the simplest way of editing a contact in gmail.

Sometimes, we all know somehow a contact has gotten into your gmail chat, and you don’t want them to appear online in your chat list for whatever reason, i.e. you don’t want them to see when you are online or you just plain don’t like them! Rather than going down the “stealth” route, you can simply edit them from your gmail chat contacts:

First thing to do is go into settings, and deselect ‘Auto-add suggested contacts’. Therefore people you email will no longer be  automatically added to your chat list.

You can edit (remove) people from appearing online in your chat list by going into contacts, select the one you want to delete, then beside ‘Show in chat list’, select the option you want (i.e. never), then return to your inbox and that contact should be removed from chat!

Audio Blog Craziness

You know when you plug you iPhone into your iMac and it automatically syncs you music and stuff? Well I found a short recording I made with my great friend Frank and elKido recently.

Such a totally random reason for a blog, but hey, and why not? Frank tells me he has an audio version of his Tiger Woods blog recorded on his iPhone also, cannot wait to hear it. Frank is enjoying the blossoming success since his recent introduction to blogging on this site, as well as his debut movie, ‘Frank Melia: The Move’ on the video page…

Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. Download the latest version here. You also need to have JavaScript enabled in your browser.

Oh btw I’m listening to Fudge Fingas right now, ‘About Time’ Ep, very nice, chilled yet funky…

Over and out.

Christmas time

I know I haven’t written anything up in ages, but I’ve been busy! So to explain, I was firstly our in Australia for Christmas and then came straight home to exams.

Australia was the best, even though I was only over for 2 weeks, it definitely felt like more. The weather wasn’t too hot but I did actually manage to get bunted one of the days.

Upon arrival home to a snowy Ireland I was informed that my exams which were meant to commence on the Monday were postponed to that following Thursday. I was delighted as I haven’t studied for them at all!

The two weeks spent in Oz were really worth the flight. Melbourne city is a beautiful and vibrant place, packed with delicious restaurants, where I over indulged in my favourite tofu! Yummy! :) We did a lot more than eat however, one of the first days was Christmas day so that was fun eating in the garden! We also went to the cricket the following day, and i managed to understand, finally the rules of the game. Couldn’t believe the players were taking a break for lunch though! Crazy.

One of the days we went to Summa Dayz, a festival starting really early in the morning and finishing up late at night. We were gifted with VIP tics and had a good time. Leaving early we went to a boat party. Started off a bit weird. A girl decided to tag onto us, I abandoned her. She was such a freak, like pretending to know people we knew,….after the boat party which turned out fine after the incident we decided to go to a house party. There was no way we were going to pay in, $80 a ticket, we went in late so nobody said anything, but this apartment was worth like 4 million so as you can imagine, extremely well located and fabulously decorated.

The whole holiday was brilliant. We also hired a car and drove down the Great Ocean Road. It was really fantastic. We stayed in a town called Lorne and the beach at this place was stunning. This is where we got burned, but luckily mine sorta turned into tan. Bad enough tan lines though. At least I can cover mine with fake tan.

Anyways, that was my fantastic holiday!,..,minus the fights obviously. Exams didn’t go too badly either considering the little cramming I did the night before compared with my nerd friends. One of whom, who i’m actually really close just told me yesterday that’s she thinking of dropping out of the course and to do event management instead. I’ll be really sad when she goes, but hopefully I’ll be able to sway her mind.

Also one last thing before I go, Herios is the best HBO series ever. I’m so addicted and keep thinking about it, when are we going to watch it next? Can we please just watch one more? Yeah and so on.

Cool, thanks for reading. Everyone should have a cool pair of GREEN headphones. I love mine.

Film to RB

I’m just after watching what has to be the worst film ever. I think it’s from Sweden or Norway. I watched the whole thing without subtitles and still managed to understand the gory concept of the whole rubbish film.Dead Snow I think it was called. I watched it with my house mate who seemed to differ to me with his tastes,…that is by actually enjoying it. I seldom feel the urge to reclaim that hour and a half back from a woeful film, I suppose if this were possible then a lot more people would risk going to the cinema to see the dodginess of supposedly ‘horror’ films.

I know I haven’t written anything in ages but that’s because I’ve been very busy with college. I’ve an interview to do with some kid tomorrow to see their understanding of maths! To put it this way, I do not enjoy spending time with small children so I am bracing myself for the worst. Especially since the child I am going to interview has 75% of one of my modules in her small little hands, so am hoping that she doesn’t mess it up too much!!I’ve a hair appointment at 11 tomorrow morning so that should give me lots of time to prepare, after that it’ll just be a case of writing up the transcript.

I’ll keep this nice and brief, because that film has literally just stunned me into shock and I really cannot think of anything interesting to write about.
Well actually now that I reflect back on the week I can.

Myself and my little sister went to see Russell Brand on Tuesday in the O2. He was so funny, I liked him before the show and now I absolutely love him, it’s even encouraged me to read his ‘My Booky Wook’, which my little sister gave me about a year ago to read.
Oh and after the show, he promised that he’d come out to sign some things or whatever so we got all our stuff signed which was amazing and he even winked at my little sister, she even said herself-OH I’m such a teenager, but I don’t care cause I’m allowed to be!! haha,…I think I’d hate to be famous.

Lalalalalalala……..russell brand and art 038

I took this picture at the show when he was 2 feet away from me!
